Hi! I'm excited about what I'm going to show you today.
My students finish school this month, and so we are revising all we've learned throughout the school year. It's been a long time since we started our 5th year, and when we started we didn't know how much we were going to learn!
As they are absolutely great at English, I decided my students should "teach" to other learners basic aspects about English grammar.
This is the first of a serie of videos my kids have recorded. I have to say that they've done them all by themselves, I just gave them a topic to talk about, and they prepared what they were going to say and how. They had lot of fun!
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I have to say thank you to all of them and to their parents for their patience and for letting me show these videos to all of you!

¡Hola! Estoy muy emocionada por lo que voy a enseñar hoy.
Mis alumnos acaban el cole este mes, y por lo tanto estamos revisando todo lo que hemos a lo largo del año. Hace mucho tiempo que empezamos 5º, pero cuando empezamos no sabíamos cuánto íbamos a aprender.
Como mis niños son geniales en inglés, decidí que podían "enseñar" a otros estudiantes aspectos básicos sobre la gramática inglesa.
Este es el primero de una serie de videos. Tengo que decir que los han hecho ellos solos, yo sólo les dije el tema a tratar, y ellos prepararon todo lo que iban a decir y cómo. ¡Se han divertido muchísimo!
Espero que lo disfrutéis tanto como yo. Tengo que dar las gracias a los padres por su colaboración y por dejarme enseñar los trabajos de sus hijos a todos vosotros.

Alexander Graham Bell was born on March, 3rd, 1847, in Edinburgh (Scotland). He was a famous inventor. He invented many things, but the most well-known object he invented was the telephone.
Alexander Graham Bell nació el 3 de Marzo de 1847 en Edimburgo (Escocia). Él fue un inventor famoso. Inventó muchas cosas pero el objeto más conocido que él inventó fue el teléfono.
LOUIS ARMSTRONG.
He was born on August, 4th, 1901 in New Orleans. He was a famous musician. He played the trumpet and he had a deep voice. A lot of people enjoy listening to his music.
Él nació el 4 de Agosto de 1901, en Nueva Orleans. Era un músico famoso. Tocaba la trompeta y tenía una voz muy profunda. Mucha gente disfruta escuchando su música.
ELIZABETH BLACKWELL. She was born on February, 3rd, 1821 in Bristol (England). She was the first female doctor in the United States of America. She cured sick people and helped women who wanted to study medicine.
Ella nació el 3 de Febrero de 1821, en Bristol (Inglaterra). Fue la primera mujer doctora en los Estados Unidos de América. Curaba a los enfermos y ayudaba a las mujeres que querían estudiar medicina.
GALILEO GALILEI.
He was born on February 15th, 1564 in Italy. He was a famous astronomer. He used to look at the stars with a telescope. He discovered that is the Earth the one which goes around the sun and not the other way around.
Él nació el 15 de Febrero de 1564 en Italia. Era un astrónomo famoso. Solía mirar las estrellas con su telescopio. él descubrió que era la Tierra la que giraba alrededor del Sol y no al revés.
- When a verb ends with consonant-vowel-consonant, we double the final consonant and add -ed. (Cuando un verbo acaba en consonante-vocal-consonante, doblamos la última consonante y añadimos -ed).
Travel-travelled.
- When a verb ends with -e, we only add -d to form the past simple. (Cuando un verbo acaba en -e, sólo añadimos -d para formar el pasado simple).
Dance-danced.
- When a verb ends with -y after a consonant, we change -y into -i and we add -ed. (Cuando un verbo acaba en -y tras una consonante, cambiamos -y por -i y añadimos -ed).
